About

An independent, source-cited program coordination service.

What we do

Renewable Energy California is an independent coordination service. We help California homeowners work out which state-administered, utility, and federal energy programs their home qualifies for, and we coordinate qualifying projects through licensed installation and financing providers. That means:

  • A home eligibility assessment covering utility, usage, roof, and equipment.
  • A 12-month usage review so program sizing reflects real consumption, not estimates.
  • Matching against current program requirements — generation, panel upgrade, efficiency, and credit programs.
  • Coordination with CSLB-licensed installation and financing providers through to completion.

About this website

Independent service. Not a state agency or utility. Program content is published as a reference resource summarizing publicly available information about California energy legislation and programs, with links to official sources so homeowners can verify everything directly.

Editorial standards

Every program referenced links to its administering agency’s official .gov source. Statute citations link to California Legislative Information or Congress.gov. Approximations are noted as such. Reports of inaccuracies are welcome via the contact channel.
